Product information

Biocidal product type: 14 – rodenticides.

Formulation type: ready-to-use 25 g wax block.

Contains a bittering agent – denatonium benzoate.


Area of use

For the control of house mice (Mus musculus) indoors.

For the control of brown rats (Rattus norvegicus) indoors and outdoors around buildings.


Instructions for use

Before using the rodenticide, place the product in areas where rodent activity has been observed, such as near nests, burrows, movement routes, droppings or gnawing damage.

Before using the product, consider alternative control methods, such as traps.

Do not use for prevention or for detecting rodent activity.

Remove accessible food and water sources.

Seal burrows and gaps.

Do not completely clean the infested area, so as not to disturb the rodents’ habits.


Preparation before placing the bait

The rodenticide may only be placed in a lockable, tamper-resistant bait station.

The bait station is not included in the packaging.

It is recommended to use Multibaiter® or an equivalent bait station.


Labelling on the bait station

The bait station must be labelled with the following information:

Bait placement

Place the bait along walls, under cupboards and behind furniture.

Place near rodent movement routes and shelter areas.

Place out of reach of children and animals.

Protect from rain and water.

Do not place near drainage systems.

Always use a closed bait station.


Application rates

For rat control in case of low infestation:

200 g or 8 blocks every 10 metres.

For rat control in case of high infestation:

200 g or 8 blocks every 5 metres.

For mouse control in case of low infestation:

50 g or 2 blocks every 10 metres.

For mouse control in case of high infestation:

50 g or 2 blocks every 5 metres.


Inspection and control

For rat control, check bait points every 5–7 days.

For mouse control, check bait points every 2–3 days.

After that, check at least once a week.

Replenish consumed bait.

Replace damaged or mouldy bait.

If the bait is constantly being consumed, create more bait points without increasing the amount in one point.

If the bait is not touched, move the bait station to another location.

Rodent death begins within 3–5 days.

Full control is usually achieved within 2–6 weeks.

If the situation does not improve within 35 days, contact a professional pest control specialist.


Safety precautions

Use only according to the instructions.

The product is toxic to mammals and birds.

Secondary poisoning of predators is possible.

Do not eat, drink or smoke during use.

Wash hands thoroughly after use.

Keep away from food and animal feed.

Do not allow the product to enter natural waters.

First aid

In case of poisoning, seek medical assistance immediately and show the product label.


In case of contact

If it gets on skin, rinse with water and wash with soap.

If it gets in eyes, rinse with clean running water for at least 10 minutes.


If swallowed

Delayed bleeding may occur, for example from the nose or gums, or blood may appear in urine or faeces.

Rinse mouth.

Do not induce vomiting.

Seek medical attention immediately.

If the product has been swallowed by an animal, contact a veterinarian immediately.

Antidote: Vitamin K1.

The antidote may only be administered by a medical or veterinary specialist.


Storage

Store in the original, unopened packaging.

Store in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.

Protect from light.

Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Do not store together with food, drinks or animal feed.

Shelf life: 2 years.


Waste management

Collect dead rodents using gloves.

Place them in a double plastic bag.

Dispose of them with household waste.

At the end of the treatment, collect bait points.

Take product residues to a hazardous waste collection point.

Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local regulations.
