Product description
PROTECT®Pharaoh’s Ant Colony Eliminator is a bait insecticide designed for the gradual elimination of Pharaoh ant colonies.
Pharaoh ants usually establish colonies inside wall cracks, around pipes, electrical conduits and electrical sockets. A single colony may consist of several thousand worker ants and dozens of queens; therefore, effective control requires elimination of the entire colony.
The product contains the insect growth regulator (IGR) S-Methoprene, which gradually stops colony reproduction.

Mode of action
The bait contains an insect growth regulator (IGR) and does not provide immediate knockdown.
S-Methoprene:
Prevents queens from laying eggs.
Disrupts larval development.
Gradually stops colony reproduction.
Complete colony elimination is usually achieved within 10–14 weeks.
Application rate
Recommended dose:
2 bait stations per 20 m².
Approximate application rate: 0.25 g/m².
Directions for use
Cut the sachet open along the dotted line.
Remove the protective film from the adhesive pad.
Attach the bait station next to, but not directly on, ant trails or foraging routes.
Position the opening facing upwards or sideways.
Place bait stations near kitchen walls, cupboards, pantries, bathrooms and other locations where ant activity has been observed.
Do not allow the bait to spill from the sachet.
Important information during use
Ant activity may temporarily increase after bait placement.
Replace the bait station if the sachet becomes empty or damaged.
Protect the bait from moisture during cleaning.
Do not use any other insecticides while this bait is in use.
For maximum effectiveness, leave the bait stations in place for up to 3 months, even if ants disappear earlier.
After the colony has collapsed, individual wandering worker ants may still appear and can be eliminated with a spray insecticide if necessary.
Safety information
The product contains the bittering agent denatonium benzoate, which helps prevent accidental ingestion.

Prevent the product from entering drains or natural watercourses.
Do not reuse the packaging.
Empty packaging and bait residues may be disposed of with household waste.
First aid
If inhaled, move the affected person to fresh air. Seek medical attention if necessary.
If on skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
If in eyes, rinse cautiously with plenty of water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and continue rinsing. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
If swallowed, seek medical advice if symptoms occur.
Storage and shelf life
Shelf life: 3 years from the manufacturing date.
Store in the original unopened packaging.
Store in a cool, dry and dark place.
Protect from frost.
