Ready-to-use insecticidal product for cockroach control — bait gel in stations.

The product is intended for cockroach control indoors, especially in dark, damp and hard-to-reach places where cockroach activity has been observed.

Product description

ECOGEL® bait stations are a practical and safe solution for cockroach control.

The bait gel is contained in a closed station, helping to ensure controlled product placement and reducing the risk of direct contact with the bait.

The product is intended to be placed in areas where cockroaches move or hide, for example under sinks, behind toilets, near sewage pipes and in other hidden places.

Application rates and frequency

Dose: 0.2–0.4 g/m², depending on the level of infestation.

The dose should be divided between several bait stations.

Example for a bait station containing 2.5 g of gel:

Low infestation: 2 bait stations per room, approximately 5 g per 22 m².

High infestation: 4 bait stations per room, approximately 10 g per 22 m².

If the infestation persists, the bait stations should be replaced with fresh ones after approximately 4 weeks.

Treatment may be repeated 3 months after the end of the infestation.

Instructions for use

Always read the label or the accompanying instructions before use and follow all instructions provided.

Before applying the product, inspect the area to determine the level of infestation and the affected zones.

Use indoors only.

Place the product in dark and damp areas, for example:

Under sinks.

Behind toilets.

Near sewage pipes.

In other hidden places where cockroach activity has been observed.

Activating the station

Open the bait station by tearing off the end of the plastic box along the cut line with your fingers.

Activate the station by vertically squeezing the capsule until the gel is released into the middle compartment of the station.

Do not remove the capsule after activation.

Place the activated station in the recommended areas.

The stations must not be opened or moved.

Never insert fingers into the holes of the bait station.

At the end of the treatment, collect the bait stations for disposal.

Additional instructions for trained professionals

It is recommended to use integrated pest management methods, combining chemical and physical control methods with other public health measures.

Take local conditions into account:

Climatic conditions.

Target species.

Conditions of use.

Check the effectiveness of the product on site.

If necessary, investigate the cause of reduced effectiveness.

Do not use the product in areas where resistance is suspected.

If treatment is not effective, inform the authorisation holder.

Safety precautions

Use the product alternately with other insecticides that do not contain the same active substance.

Do not place bait where food, animal feed or drinking water may be contaminated.

Use the product only for as long as pest control is necessary.

Use only at the recommended doses and intervals.

To improve effectiveness, follow good hygiene practices and remove all alternative food sources.

The bait should be the main available food source for cockroaches.

Check the bait once a week and refill or replace it if necessary.

Use the product in a way that reduces the risk of ingestion by children and animals.

Do not dispose of the product in soil, watercourses, sinks or sewage systems.

Use only in hidden, hard-to-reach places protected from water.

At the end of the treatment, collect the bait stations for disposal.

Main first aid measures

If in eyes, rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

If contact lenses are present, remove them before rinsing.

If on skin, wash with soap and plenty of water.

If necessary, take the affected person to hospital and show the product label or packaging.

Do not leave the poisoned person unattended.

Emergency measures for environmental protection

Prevent the product from entering the environment:

Surface waters.

Groundwater.

Sewage systems.

In case of spillage, absorb with inert material, such as sand or kaolin.

Place the collected material in containers labelled as hazardous waste.

Inform the responsible authorities about spills into watercourses or sewage systems.

Storage

Store in the original packaging.

Store in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.

Recommended storage temperature: from +5 °C to +45 °C.

Keep out of reach of children.

Waste management

Dispose of unused product and outer packaging in accordance with local regulations.

At the end of the treatment, collect the bait stations for disposal.
