ECOGEL®Cockroach Gel Bait

Ready-to-use insecticidal gel bait supplied in a syringe and applied as small drops.

Designed for the control of adult cockroaches:

German cockroach

Oriental cockroach

American cockroach

For indoor use in cracks, crevices and other hidden areas.

The product contains the bittering agent Bitrex® (0.008%), which reduces the risk of accidental ingestion by humans and pets.

Application Rates and Frequency

1 drop = 0.04 g

German cockroach

0.12–0.16 g/m² (3–4 drops/m²)

Oriental cockroach

0.16–0.24 g/m² (4–6 drops/m²)

American cockroach

0.16–0.24 g/m² (4–6 drops/m²)

Application frequency:

one treatment every 4 weeks;

if infestation persists, treatment may be repeated once only;

do not apply more than 12 drops per household during a single treatment;

repeat preventive treatment no sooner than 3 months after infestation has been eliminated.

Directions for Use

Read the label carefully before use.

Assess the infestation before treatment.

For indoor use only.

Apply only:

in cracks;

in crevices;

behind furniture;

behind appliances and equipment.

Do not apply on exposed surfaces.

Do not mix with other chemicals.

Do not apply on wood or porous surfaces.

Avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Do not place in areas accessible to children.

Do not apply on surfaces that come into contact with food or animal feed.

Apply only in concealed, hard-to-reach and water-protected areas.

Additional Instructions for Professional Users

Wear protective gloves during application.

Do not apply in food preparation areas.

In food-processing facilities, apply only when food is absent.

Ensure that food, equipment and surfaces are free from product residues.

Follow Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles.

Monitor product performance and resistance development.

If efficacy decreases, inform the authorization holder.

Safety Precautions

To prevent resistance development, rotate with products having a different mode of action.

Do not place bait where it may contaminate food or water.

Maintain good hygiene practices.

The bait should be the primary food source available to cockroaches.

Inspect bait placements at least once per week.

Remove remaining bait placements after treatment.

Do not allow the product to enter drains or water bodies.

First Aid

Eye Contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do.

Skin Contact

Wash thoroughly with soap and water.

If symptoms persist, seek medical attention and show the product label or packaging.
