The product is intended for open application as drops in areas where cockroach activity has been observed.

Product description

The insecticide is intended for the control of adult cockroaches.

Effective against:

German cockroach — Blattella germanica.

Oriental cockroach — Blatta orientalis.

American cockroach — Periplaneta americana.

The product contains a bittering agent — 0.008% Bitrex®, making it unpleasant for humans and pets.


Active substance

Imidacloprid — 21.5 g/kg (2.15% by mass).

Application rates and frequency

The dose depends on the level of infestation and the cockroach species.

1 drop = 0.04 g.

For German cockroaches — Blattella germanica:

0.12–0.16 g/m² or 3–4 drops/m².

For Oriental cockroaches — Blatta orientalis:

0.16–0.24 g/m² or 4–6 drops/m².

For American cockroaches — Periplaneta americana:

0.16–0.24 g/m² or 4–6 drops/m².

Apply once every 4 weeks.

If the infestation persists, apply only one more time.

Do not apply more than 12 drops per house in one treatment.

Treatment may be repeated three months after the end of the infestation.


Instructions for use

Always read the label or the accompanying instructions before use and follow all instructions provided.

Before applying the product, inspect the area to assess the level of infestation and the affected zones.

Use indoors only.

Apply the biocidal product only in cracks and crevices, behind furniture and motors.

The product must not be used on exposed surfaces.

Do not mix with other chemicals.

Do not use in areas recently treated with another insecticide.

Do not apply on wood or porous surfaces.

Avoid contact with treated surfaces.

Do not expose bait drops to direct sunlight or heat sources, such as radiators.

Wear suitable protective gloves during application.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

The product must not be applied in areas accessible to children.

Treatment must be limited to areas that are inaccessible to animals.

The product must not be applied on surfaces where food or animal feed is prepared, served, consumed or stored.

The product may be used in the food industry only in the absence of food, except in warehouses where stored products are properly packaged.

Take appropriate measures to ensure that food, equipment or utensils handled in previously treated areas do not contain residues of the active substance.

Use only in hidden, hard-to-reach places protected from water.

It is recommended to use integrated pest management methods, combining chemical and physical control methods with hygiene measures, taking local conditions into account.

Check the effectiveness of the product on site.

If necessary, investigate the cause of reduced effectiveness to confirm that resistance has not developed or to identify possible resistance.

Do not use the product in areas where resistance is suspected or has already developed.

If treatment is not effective, inform the authorisation holder.


Safety precautions

It is recommended to use the product alternately with other products that do not contain the same active substance, in order to avoid the development of resistant populations.

Do not place bait where food, animal feed or drinking water may be contaminated.

After treatment has been completed, reapply the product only for as long as pest control is necessary.

Use only at the recommended rates and intervals.

To optimise treatment effectiveness, follow good hygiene practices: remove all food sources or prevent access to them.

The bait should be the main food source available to cockroaches.

Check the bait once a week and replace or replenish it if it is damaged or contaminated.

Apply the product safely, reducing the risk of ingestion by children or non-target animals.

Do not dispose of the product on the ground, in watercourses, sinks or drains.

Use only in hidden, hard-to-reach places protected from water.

At the end of the treatment campaign, collect bait residues and auxiliary materials for disposal.

Dispose of unused product, its packaging and all other waste, such as dead insects, in accordance with local regulations.


Main first aid measures

If in eyes, rinse the eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

If contact lenses are present, remove them before rinsing the eyes.

If on skin, wash with soap and plenty of water without rubbing the skin.

If necessary, take the affected person to hospital and, if possible, show the product label or packaging.

Do not leave the poisoned person alone.


Medical advice

Provide symptomatic treatment and supportive care.

If medical assistance is needed, keep the product container or label nearby and contact the Poison and Drug Information Centre.

Emergency measures for environmental protection

Prevent the product from entering the environment, surface waters, groundwater, sewage systems and drainage by installing protective barriers and closing drains.

Inform the relevant authorities about spills into watercourses, drains or sewage systems.

Absorb the spill with inert material, such as sand or kaolin.

Place the collected material in properly labelled containers as hazardous waste for further disposal.


Storage

Store in the original packaging.

Keep the packaging tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.

Recommended storage temperature: from +5 °C to +45 °C.

Keep out of reach of children.

Dispose of all waste in accordance with local regulations.

Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
