Product description

BRODY FRESH BAIT is a ready-to-use fresh paste anticoagulant rodenticide bait based on brodifacoum.

Effective against:

House mice (Mus musculus)

Brown rats (Rattus norvegicus)

Effective after a single ingestion.

The bait is supplied in individual 10 g sachets, ensuring convenient and safe use.

The composition and formulation do not arouse suspicion in rodent populations and maintain high attractiveness.

Contains a bittering agent to reduce the risk of accidental ingestion by children.

Composition

100 g of product contains:

Active substance:

Brodifacoum (CAS No. 56073-10-0) – 0.005 g (0.05 g/kg)

Denatonium benzoate – 0.001 g

Food attractants and co-formulants – up to 100 g.

Method of use

Bait shall only be placed in properly labelled tamper-resistant bait stations.

Bait stations shall be:

Protected from weather conditions.

Inaccessible to non-target animals.

Placed in such a way as to prevent bait release into the environment.

Do not open the paper sachets containing the paste bait.

Bait stations shall bear the following information:

“Do not move or open.”

“Contains rodenticide.”

“Active substance: Brodifacoum 0.05 g/kg.”

“In case of poisoning call +371 67042473.”

Application rates

House mouse control indoors and outdoors around buildings:

40 g (4 sachets) per bait station.

Distance between bait stations: 10–15 m (minimum 5 m).

Inspect every 2–3 days initially, then at least once per week.

Brown rat control indoors:

60–100 g (6–10 sachets) per bait station.

Distance between bait stations: 10–15 m (minimum 5 m).

Inspect after 5–7 days, then weekly.

Brown rat control outdoors:

60–100 g per bait station.

Distance between bait stations: 5–10 m (minimum 5 m).

Protect bait stations from rain and flooding.

Collect dead rodents regularly.

Treatment period shall not exceed 35 days.

Risk mitigation measures

Inform persons nearby about the rodent control programme.

Collect dead rodents regularly.

Do not use as permanent bait or monitoring bait.

Do not wash bait stations with water between treatments.

Do not use for longer than 35 days without re-evaluating the infestation.

Medical information

The product contains an anticoagulant.

Symptoms of poisoning may be delayed.

Possible symptoms include:

Nosebleeds.

Bleeding gums.

Bruising.

Blood in urine.

Blood in faeces.

Antidote:

Vitamin K1.

To be administered only by medical or veterinary personnel.

In case of poisoning seek immediate medical attention.
