Application

FOVAL CE is an emulsifiable insecticide concentrate intended for the control of flying and crawling insects.

Designed for indoor and outdoor pest control applications.

Effective against:

Flying insects:

Flies;

Mosquitoes;

Biting midges;

Tiger mosquitoes.

Crawling insects:

Bed bugs;

Ants.

Particularly effective on non-absorbent surfaces.

Its efficacy is significantly reduced on porous or matt surfaces (ceilings, internal and external walls).

Suitable for disinfestation of public buildings, hotels, schools, warehouses, food industry facilities and industrial premises.

Can also be used for:

Mosquito control in lawns, hedges, shrubs and tree-lined avenues;

Fly control in rural environments, stables and livestock farms.

Active ingredients

Cypermethrin – 8.0 g/100 g (92 g/L)

Tetramethrin – 2.0 g/100 g (23 g/L)

Piperonyl butoxide – 10.0 g/100 g (115 g/L)

Application rates

Use diluted with water.

For flying insects:

1–2% solution (10–20 ml per 1 L of water).

For crawling insects:

2–4% solution (20–40 ml per 1 L of water).

In cases of heavy infestation, treatments may be repeated every 5 days.

Apply 1 litre of prepared solution per 10 m² of surface area.

Directions for use

Apply the diluted solution to surfaces using hand-held or mechanical sprayers.

Safety precautions

Do not transfer the product into unlabelled containers.

Read the instructions carefully before use.

Do not use the product undiluted.

Do not swallow.

Do not inhale vapours or spray mist.

Avoid contact with eyes.

Wash hands and exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after use.

Do not treat freshly painted surfaces.

Do not spray food, kitchen utensils or food preparation surfaces.

Do not use in the presence of people or pets.

Do not re-enter treated rooms for at least 12 hours after treatment.

Ventilate treated rooms thoroughly before re-entry.

Poisoning information

Mode of action: blockage of nerve impulse transmission through hyperstimulation of nerve endings.

Symptoms of poisoning:

Tremors;

Convulsions;

Loss of coordination;

Respiratory irritation;

Coughing;

Bronchospasm;

Shortness of breath.

Allergic individuals, asthmatics and children may be particularly sensitive.

First aid

Skin contact: remove contaminated clothing and wash immediately with soap and water.

Inhalation: move the affected person to fresh air.

Eye contact: rinse thoroughly with running water for 15 minutes.

If swallowed: do not induce vomiting and seek immediate medical attention.

Keep container tightly closed.

Storage

Store tightly closed in the original container in a well-ventilated place.

Do not store together with food or animal feed.

Protect from heat, flames and sparks.

Shelf life: 2 years from the date of manufacture.

Waste disposal

Dispose of product residues at an authorised hazardous waste collection facility.

Do not reuse the container.

Dispose of empty packaging through appropriate recycling systems.
