An effective and safe solution for monitoring and controlling pantry moths in homes, warehouses and other food storage areas.
The BIOSTOP® monitor helps detect and limit the spread of moths in time, without the use of toxic insecticides.
Area of use
Intended for monitoring and controlling the Indian meal moth (Plodia interpunctella), tobacco moth (Ephestia elutella), Mediterranean flour moth (Ephestia kuehniella) and other pantry moths.
Not effective against clothes moths.
Product description
The BIOSTOP® monitor contains no insecticides and is environmentally friendly.
It works with a special pheromone lure that attracts male pantry moths, helping to determine the level of infestation and reduce the pest population.
Effective period: up to 6 weeks from installation.
Installation and use
Fold the cardboard sheet into a triangular shape.
Remove the protective film from the sticky surface.
Insert the plastic hanger into the holes provided at the top and secure the structure.
Remove the lure from the sealed packaging and place it in the centre of the monitor.
The monitor can be hung or placed on a shelf in the room where moth activity has been observed.
It is recommended to place the monitor in a dry, dust-free area and check it regularly.
If the monitor is full of insects, contaminated or has been used for more than 6 weeks, it should be disposed of with household waste and replaced with a new one.
Recommendations for use
For effective control, it is recommended to use at least one monitor per 40–60 m³ of room space.
If the infestation is severe, several monitors should be placed at the same time.
Food and products infested with moth eggs or larvae should be destroyed.
Storage
Store in the original packaging.
Store in a cool, dry and dark place.
Shelf life: 2 years from the date of manufacture.

Do not touch the sticky surface of the monitor.
Wash hands after use.
